RedHOT Arts is a not for profit organisation run by a volunteer

RedHOT Arts develops and promotes the distinctive cross cultural arts sector of Central Australia. 

This covers the large desert area in the geographic heart of the Australian continent. With a rich living history of creative activity the region is the undisputed heart of Australia’s indigenous visual arts industry. The considerable growth of this industry over the last 20 years has led to the development of a highly sophisticated regional arts sector.As an umbrella organisation supporting the development and marketing of the arts in Central Australia.

RedHOTArts services include:

  • one on one mentoring for arts organisations and artists;
  • collaborative marketing projects: What’s On, Weekly redHOT e-Bulletin and the Guide to Art & Craft in Central Australia ;
  • resource sharing of equipment;
  • profiling of local artists and arts organisations;
  • arts management training;
  • advocacy, sector support and arts industry research.

RedHOT Arts is located at the RedHOT Arts Space, also the administrative home to a number of not for profit arts organisations including Red Dust Theatre, Alice Desert Festival, Music NT, ArtBack NT and the NT Writers Centre. There is a community arts noticeboard, information stands, networking events, workshop and rehearsals space.
